Toronto, March 16, 2010 - C.O.R.E CLOSES IT'S DOORS

CASO is sadden to hear of the closure of C.O.R.E, a founding member studio of CASO and a cherished institution within the Canadian and International Animation & VFX industries.

C.O.R.E. was established in 1994 and attracted some of the industry's top talent The studio was a full production and output facility offering a broad range of services such as C.O.R.E. Visual Effects, C.O.R.E. Toons, C.O.R.E. Film Productions and C.O.R.E. Feature Animation. C.O.R.E. was also the creator of ground breaking visual and animation techniques and became the gold standard for production in Canada.

CASO is working closely with C.O.R.E. to help transition existing projects and former staff quickly and effectively where needed.
Although a great loss to our industry and community, Ontario Animation & VFX studios continue to be the best in the world offering unparalleled creative, technical and production management.

Established in 2005, CASO is a non-profit trade association representing the digital animation and visual effects community in Ontario, Canada.
